Clube de Futebol de S.José, simply known as S.José, is a Brazilian football club based in the city of Porto Alegre, capital of the state of the same name. The club was found in 1913, is a regular presence in the Série C, the third level of national football league, and also in the Campeonato Gaúcho, the state of the same name. They have won the latter twice, in 1974 and 1984.

S.José is one of the most traditional football players from the state of the same name, having won the state title twice, in 1974 and 1984. The club also has eight Taça Fátima conquests, a regional competition between teams from the state of the same name.

In the national level, S.José has a significant history in the Série C, having played the competition 12 times, including the 2023 season. The club's best campaign in the competition was in 2006, when they reached the semifinals.

S.José is known for revealing talents for the national football, such as the defender Roque Júnior, who was world with the Brazilian National Team in 2002, and the attackers Élber and Fernandão, who played for the Seleção during the 1998 World Cup.
