Nogometno društvo Primorje Ajdovščina or simply ND Primorje is a Slovenian football club based in Ajdovščina that competes in the Slovenian Second League, the second tier of the Slovenian football league system. The club was established in 2011.
History
The club was founded in June 2011 as Nogometno društvo Ajdovščina after the dissolution of NK Primorje, a club which folded a couple of months earlier due to high financial debt, and after failing to obtain competition licences issued by the Football Association of Slovenia. They merged their first team with ŠD Škou before the beginning of the 2012–13 season. The team gained promotion to the third level after finishing as runners-up of the 2012–13 Littoral League.
In 2016, the club was renamed as ND Primorje.
클럽의 역사상 가장 큰 성과는 2014-15 시즌에 슬로베니아 컵에서 우승한 것이다. 이 우승으로 클럽은 UEFA 유로파리그에 출전할 수 있는 기회를 얻었지만, 예선 1라운드에서 스페인의 에이바르에게 패배하여 탈락했다.
프리모레는 슬로베니아에서 가장 오래된 축구 클럽 중 하나이며, 팬층이 많다. 클럽의 홈 경기는 항상 많은 관중이 모여 열띤 분위기가 연출된다.
프리모레의 유명 선수로는 슬로베니아 국가대표팀에 출전했던 골키퍼 사미르 한다노비치와 미드필더 얀 오블라크가 있다.
